Trace Photos Accurately with This Optical Drawing Board
You start sketching and the proportions come out wrong again. You're erasing and redrawing the same lines, and it's eating up your entire practice session. This drawing board helps you trace phone images onto paper for portraits, still lifes, or detailed artwork at home or outdoors.
This drawing board uses a clear acrylic panel held upright by a sturdy stand. Set your phone in the stand with an image displayed, and the panel reflects that image over your paper so you can see it and trace it at the same time. Adjust the distance between the board and your paper to change the size of the reflected image.
It runs without batteries or charging cables since it uses your phone's screen as the light source. The flexible acrylic panel resists cracking and gives a clear view across multiple drawing sessions. Three size options fit different desk spaces and paper dimensions.
The plastic body keeps the weight low for carrying between locations. It works for art students learning proportion, hobbyists practicing new techniques, and professional artists sketching reference images. The compact build stores in bags or backpacks when you're working outside your studio.
- ZERO POWER REQUIRED: Operates without batteries or charging cables using only your smartphone display as the light source for portable use anywhere.
- CLEAR ACRYLIC PANEL: Reflects the image from your phone screen over your drawing paper for accurate tracing and proportion work.
- THREE SIZE OPTIONS: Choose small at 3.9 by 7.1 inches, medium at 7.9 by 5.3 inches, or large at 10.2 by 7.5 inches for different paper sizes.
- LIGHTWEIGHT PLASTIC BUILD: Carries easily between studio, classroom, or outdoor locations without adding bulk to your art supplies bag.
- ADJUSTABLE IMAGE SIZE: Change the distance between the board and paper to make reflected images larger or smaller based on your drawing needs.
- WORKS WITH ANY SMARTPHONE: Compatible with all phone models that display images, giving you access to unlimited reference photos for tracing practice.
- DURABLE FLEXIBLE PANEL: Bends without cracking and keeps a clear view across repeated drawing sessions for reliable tracing results over time.
- COMPACT DESK FOOTPRINT: Fits on any workspace without taking up excessive room, leaving space for pencils, erasers, and other drawing tools.
