How does one assemble a telescope?

(1) Gently separate the aluminum tripod legs until the center leg's bracing is horizontal and flat. 

(2) The telescope tube's underside has a mounting tab. Slide this tab into the slot on the tripod. 

(3) Tighten the knurled knob on the tripod head to fasten the tube to the tripod. 

(4) Insert the pointing control arm into the back threaded socket of the mount. 

Fifth, insert the diagonal mirror into the end of the telescope tube. 

(6) Insert the 20mm eyepiece—which has a 20mm marking—into the diagonal mirror. 

(7) Remove the dust cap from the large end of the telescope.
